Sherwood Bridge Diamonds in Laguna Hills
Established in 2021 – but been in the Gemology business for over 16 years
This is our first venture on our own, but we have been serving Southern California for many years at other locations. Building a lasting relationship is what we do best, and we look forward to getting the chance to meet and help you. We specialize in custom engagement rings, wedding bands and most jewelry gift occasions.
How it all started ...
The founder, Jeffrey Seymour, had to switch careers due to a work accident. The fascination for Gemology business came surprisingly from browsing shopping channels for jewelry – due to being a single dad with an infant with sleeping issues. With the hunger to learn, Jeffrey enrolled himself into GIA: the Gemological Institute of America. Jeffrey was top of his class in the Diamond course and second in Colored Gemstones.
His introduction to the jewelry industry was as a Diamond grader, where he graded over 30k stones. Later, working in retail, he learned through his own personality and knowledge how to embrace each customer with honesty and respect and not for just the sale. Coming from a blue collar past, there was a bit of culture shock in his dealings with how individuals act in this industry, but this lead to a different approach, knowing everything hasn’t just been handed to him, and he needed to connect with each customer differently.
